Major admin error with Negreanu's staking package

We recap some stories you may have missed including Lex Live 2 and the biggest buy-in in poker history revealed.

KidPoker Hiccup

Daniel Negreanu's first week as a free agent was one to forget as an admin error sank his plans to sell shares to fans (with no markup).

It seems that a software error meant that because there was such high demand for his WSOP package, he ended up collecting more money than the total buy-ins of his entire WSOP schedule.

KidPoker had to refund all of the backers at cost to himself and is now working on solutions to get some added value perks to everyone who wanted a piece but was unable to this summer.

The biggest buy-in in history

As teased last year, Triton Poker are hosting the biggest buy-in in poker history this year, and now it has been revealed it will take place between July 31 and August 8.

However, those of you wondering if it will be a big jump from the previous record, it won't, and depending on the state of the pound as Brexit looms closer might not even be bigger than the €1 million One Drop Invitational of 2016.

The event takes place in London and the Main Event will be a £1 million charity event.

Save the date for Lex Live II

The last event looked like a lot of fun, so much so it's happening again, this time in London.

Lex Live II takes place in London between September 27 and October 6 at the Aspers Casino in Stratford, with a buy-in of just £230. Further details are yet to be revealed.

Clearly this is the start of something big as the first event was just a weekend and this is ten days of poker action.

Another bittersweet COOP

Speaking of which, it was another up and down COOP series for Lex this month, here he is with one of the most viewed Twitch clips of the series, busting a SCOOP final table:
