Three bracelets, all of them at the World Series of Poker Europe, for the controversial figure.

One of the game's most controversial figures has added a third bracelet to his trophy cabinet.

Martin Kabrhel took down the €50,000 Diamond High Roller for €529,000 after overcoming a field of just 26 players and four re-entries. This prompted a wider discussion on social media on whether a field of just 26 runners 'counted' as a real bracelet event.

Kabrhel is a polarising figure in poker who last year defended himself against allegations of card-marking

Speaking of his controversial table image, he said "Most people really enjoy playing with me, especially in Vegas. But I understand that in higher-stakes situations, some players can feel a bit nervous, and I get that some moments with me might not be so pleasant. I'm just trying to have fun at the table for everyone involved, and hopefully, I'm succeeding at that."

This was Kabrhel's third career bracelet, all of which were won at the WSOPE. He also won the €100,000 King's Super High Roller at the WSOPE in 2018 and the €1,100 Super Turbo Bounty bracelet at the 2017 WSOPE.

All eyes are now on the WSOPE Main Event which has attracted 768 runners. 185 remain heading into Day 3 and the top prize is €1,300,000.
