Marvin Rettenmaier Wins The World Poker Tour Championship Main Event [Interview]
Season ten of the World Poker Tour is over, and we have another young German capturing a major title on the world stage. Tobias Block interviewed the winner.

Marvin xcrash154 Rettenmaier is the WPT World Champion after eliminating Philippe Ktorza heads-up. He won $1,196,858, which includes entry into this event next year, alongside a silver Tiffany card protector, and of course the WPT Champions Cup.
He may have gone into day seven with a commanding chip lead, but he certainly did not have it his own way at this final table. Runner up Philippe Ktorza repeatedly took the chip lead away from Rettenmaier in their heads-up battle, and had him on the ropes more than once.
But after the end of an epic battle that lasted over three hours, it was a hand that played itself which sealed the Championship, as the pocket jacks of Ktorza were no match for the pocket kings of Rettenmaier.
This tops off an amazing week for Marvin Rettenmaier, which started with him being announced as the latest sponsored pro with Team PartyPoker, and ended with him walking away with the most coveted WPT title of season ten. He will no doubt go into the WSOP as a hot favourite in Fantasy Leagues all over the world.

Qualify for WPT National Series Madrid
This may be the end of season 10 of the World Poker Tour but you can already qualify for season 11, as PartyPoker are hosting satellites for the WPT National Series in Madrid. The Casino Gran Madrid is hosting the $2,250 main event between 28 June and 2 July.
You can win a $4,000 package that includes main event buy-in, $750 spending money, and hotel accommodation for five nights. Qualifiers start at freeroll level, all the way up to weekly $215 direct qualifiers on Sundays at 13:55 ET, where one package is guaranteed.
