Michael Addamo wins the Super High Roller Bowl
The Australian moves to number one on his country's all-time money list after taking down three nosebleed events this month.
Just over a week after back-to-back Poker Masters wins, Michael Addamo sealed his reputation as the best high stakes player right now by winning the Super High Roller Bowl.
He defeated three-time Super High Roller Bowl champion Justin Bonomo heads-up for the $3,402,000 first prize.
“Not really, to be honest,” Addamo said when asked if all of the winning he’s been doing has sunk in yet. “I’m thinking about registering the 25K. It hasn’t really sunk in. I think maybe after a week with some good sleep and rest that I’ll be like, ‘All right, that was an insane week.'”

This win sees his all-time earnings move to $13,545,257 and as we predicted last week, moves him to the top of the Australian all-time money list ahead of Joe Hachem. Impressive considering his first cash was in 2012, seven years after Hachem's Main Event win.
The Super High Roller Bowl is usually the warm-up to the WSOP but with just 21 entries this time for the $300,000 event that previously had a waiting list and player cap, it is perhaps a sign we can expect a smaller series this year.
