Negreanu looking for $1 million in bracelet prop bets
KidPoker fancies his chances at an online bracelet this summer and is willing to put up seven-figures that he will bag one.
The poker world is divided on whether online bracelets count or not, but for the purposes of prop betting they certainly do.
Daniel Negreanu has once again thrown the gauntlet down and started booking seven figures of bracelet bets for the very different looking WSOP this year. This includes the events at WSOP.com, GGPoker and whatever the live WSOP planned in the autumn looks like.
Looking for action:
I’ll take 2.5 to 1 that I win a WSOP bracelet in 2020
Either:
online at https://t.co/tOa6L4yo0q or@GGPokerOfficial
Or, if there is a live WSOP this fall.
Tough to win against huge online fields.
Will bet up to $1 million. pic.twitter.com/BKXcGXWTei

On the face of it this looks quite a +EV bet if you don't think KidPoker can do it. His odds of 2.5 to 1 are not exactly long considering he is not considered a formidable online specialist, the fields will be large for the GGPoker events and they won't be in the mixed game variants where one would expect him to have his biggest edge.
He has also started cross booking with other players, and has already max bet $100,000 with Connor Drinan:
Action on this bet has a $100k cap per individual player. @ConnorDrinan is officially sold out. https://t.co/vro9QoFy7K

We haven't seen the GGPoker schedule, so there might be something in there that Negreanu thinks favours his skillset. He may also have some inside information on what the autumn WSOP schedule might look like (as well as if there is a WSOPE planned).
Though he isn't an online Wizard, there is little doubt that these prop bets and challenges tend to bring the best out in him. He almost (and briefly did) won the WSOP Player of the Year title last year and he has won it twice before.
Expect more of these prop bets in the coming weeks as a lot of seasoned online players will fancy their chances at a bracelet after all this summer.
