New High Stakes Poker record!

In the last episode of 'High Stakes Poker' two record pots happened. We are presenting you these hands with our new hand replayer.

Episode 13 of the fourth season began with a nice hand but it was not a big pot. Barry Greenstein got four of a kind on the river, but Jamie Gold didn't want to lose his stack with a one card straight on a paired board.

Later a $250.000 pot was built, when David Benyamine got a straight flush with but wasn't paid off by Sammy Farha who had a set:

But that was just a warm-up for the hand between Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté and Doyle Brunson. Just take a look. Hint: The river was dealt twice. That's why the hand goes on after the first showdown.

Brunson was able to win both showdowns and got $818,000! The biggest pot in High Staks Poker history!

But there was more to it than that. At the end of the episode Patrik Antonius and Sammy Farha played for a $1,000,000 pot!

Antonius and Farha, who have played a lot together - especially PL Omaha - agree to run turn and river four times! And although Farha has an equity advantage of 53% to 47%, je just wins one out of the four hands. Farha gets $249,700 back, Antonius wins the remaining $749,100 of the $998,800 pot!
