New features coming to the MPN Network

We recap some stories you may have missed including more bad news for Phil Ivey and more great news for Stephen Chidwick.

New features coming to MPN

Cloud Notes
Cloud Notes

v40 of the MPN poker client is set to launch between now and March 7 with a number of new innovations.

Most notably Cloud Based Opponent Notes meaning your colour codes and notes will follow you around with every device you play poker on.

There will also be a long awaited customisable bet-slider and tournament breaks (which will now be six minutes) will feature invites to a quick Fish Party Progressive Jackpot SNG for those of you who don't need to take a break. You can read the full list of updates here.

Chidwick wins another USPO

It is getting hard to find new ways to write about this, but Super High Roller King Stephen Chidwick took down another event at the US Poker Open this week, taking his title count to five over the two festivals.

He won the $25,000 PLO event for $351,000 defeating Cary Katz heads-up, putting him in pole position to retain his US Poker Open Player of the Series title, with 540 points at the time of writing.

Sean Winter and Cary Katz are best positioned to snatch the series title from him, with three more events to play including a $100,000 Main Event.

Ivey's Room no more

With all the talk of Twitch streamers leaving or joining poker rooms this week, here is a poker player endorsement from the bricks and mortar game that is no more.

It hasn't been a good month for Phil Ivey so far and now the poker room named after him at the ARIA has been rebranded:

Lex still running, well walking, good

If you thought Lex Veldhuis was a streamer hipster for using a standing desk, he has upped the ante with a treadmill desk. Countdown to him tripping over on stream begins now...

Do you use a standing (or walking) desk for poker? Let us know in the comments:

I wonder if the new MPN software will be updated to save cash game hand histories to allow the use of a hud on those tables
