November Niner Soi Nguyen Hosts and Wins FTOPS Event #18
9th place finisher in this year's WSOP Main Event Soi Nguyen has just taken down Event #18 of the ongoing Full Tilt Online Poker Series. Most remarkably, he was also the host of the event and took home $78,500 for the win.

Prior to making the final table of the WSOP 2010 Main Event, Soi Nguyen (pictured right) had stated that he is just a casual poker player and knows very little about the finer points of the game. That, however, did not stop him from making it all the way there.
Less than two weeks after his remarkable ninth place finish in the WSOP Main Event, Soi Nguyen has once again beaten the odds, and the 1,841 player field, to emerge as the winner of FTOPS Event #18 - $207+$9, No Limit Hold'em Rush Super Turbo on Full Tilt Poker.
Third FTOPS host to win own event
Besides the $78,500 he won for taking down the event, he also became only the third FTOPS event host to take down their own event. Before Nguyen, Erik Lindgren and Greg Mueller were the only other two Full Tilt pros that have won the FTOPS event they hosted.
It is still not too late for you to attempt to win one of these FTOPS events yourself. 15 more events, including the $600+$40 FTOPS XVIII Main Event, are still to run. Check out the FTOPS XVIII web page for the full tournament schedule.
