Poker After Dark: Season 5 Underway

NBC will be airing the fifth season of Poker After Dark starting with the 29th of December. 4 remaining episodes from the previous season, along with at least 12 more will be available for the audience either on TV or Internet stream.

Poker After Dark, a well-known TV series that features the biggest names in both online and live poker, is set to start its fifth season in December 29. The new season will bring poker fans 4 episodes that have not been aired from the previous besides the ones that will already be created.

This season will be split into two categories: Tournament Matchups and Cash Game Matchups. The format for Tournament Matchups includes a $20,000 buy-in, six-handed tables and winner takes it all events. The Cash Game Matchups have the blinds set at $200 / $400 and the buy-in ranges from $100,000 to $250,000. Additionally, stakes can be raised at any time, if all the players agree with it.
