We round-up the stories you may have missed, including a third high roller win for Fedor Holz and Dan Bilzerian's celebrity poker friend.
Poker Hall of Fame nominations open
You can now vote to put names forward for the 2016 Poker Hall of Fame, which as always will take place just before the WSOP Main Event final table.
The criteria is as follows:
- A player must have played poker against acknowledged top competition
- Be a minimum of 40 years old at time of nomination
- Played for high stakes
- Played consistently well, gaining the respect of peers
- Stood the test of time
- Or, for non-players, contributed to the overall growth and success of the game of poker, with indelible positive and lasting results
This year is likely to be somewhat predictable, as it is the first year that both Phil Ivey and Chris Moneymaker have been eligible, as they will both be 40 before the cutoff. Given they are aruably two of the most influential players in the modern game, it will be tough to bet against them this year.
Fedor wins.....again
Jason Mercier may be getting all the bracelets, but Fedor 'CrownUpGuy' Holz has won the most titles and money it seems this summer. He has just won his third Aria High Roller event on June 17 for $276,000, after previously having won one on June 10 for $393,120, and before that one on June 3 for $637,392.
Add to that his runner-up finish in the Super High Roller Bowl for $3,500,000, and he is arguably having the best WSOP of anyone in Vegas, without even cashing for any amount of note in the Rio.

Kevin Hart sucks at poker
Given how he is a huge celebrity outside of poker, it is surprising that we haven't seen more Instagram pictures of Dan Bilzerian playing poker with the rich and famous.
Here he is, however, playing poker with American comedian Kevin Hart, who last year came 2nd in Forbes list of the highest paid comedians, with an estimated income of $28.5 million.
Also at the table is Jean-Robert Bellande, with an estimated income of....a lot less.
