PokerStars EPT Vienna: Simon1989 Ranked Second after Day 1B
On Day 1B, the four Team PokerStrategy.com players Allanon, CuCbKu, Simon1989 and ScHnibL0r joined the Main Event of the EPT Vienna. At the end of the day, Simon1989 ranked second in chips, CuCbKu ranked 147th and Allanon ranked 158th. Schnibl0r unfortunately did not make it through the day.

On Day 1B of the PokerStars EPT Vienna €5,300 Main Event, 353 players sat down at the tables, a much higher number than on Day 1A when 234 players joined the tournament.
The total number of participants, 587, generates a prize pool bigger than any other that has ever been at stake in a tournament in Austria.
At the end of the day, 161 players were left at the tables, among them the three Team PokerStrategy.com players 
Allanon, CuCbKu and Simon1989, who finished the day as the second-ranked player in the chip count.
Day 1B will see some more well-known players join the action. Players such as Team PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu, EPT London High Roller Event winner Nacho Barbero, Jan Heitmann, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Dario Minieri and Richard Toth, Team PokerStars SportStars Boris Becker and Fatima Moreira De Melo as well as Full Tilt pro Tom 'durrrr' Dwan have taken a seat at the tables.

Day 2 of the Main Event with five Team PokerStrategy.com players
On Day 2 of the Main Event, the player fields from Day 1A and Day 1B are merged and 278 participants are set to return to the tables at the Kursalon in Vienna. The five Team PokerStrategy.com players Allanon, CuCbKu, Simon1989 as well as BongBob and Nazgul, who all made it through Day 1A, are ready to take on the competition. Besides these players, you will also find several other PokerStrategists at the tables.
