PokerStars Says It Has Returned $100m To US Players
The world's biggest poker room announced that it proceeded cashout requests from US players and returned a total of $100m to its customers from America.
Nearly a month after "Black Friday", eGaming Review received in a statement from PokerStars the information that the online poker room returned more than $100m to American online poker players from its "past US-facing operations".
Already on April 27, the Isle of Man licensed operator announced that it had begun their cash out process. All Americans who viewed the cashier in the software received a pop up that asked them to cash out their funds.
In today's statement, PokerStars said it had returned the money and that it would continue to "service requests" following the company's agreement with the US Department of Justice. In this agreement PokerStars got the permission to allow their US customers to cash out.
