PokerStars Software Upgraded
In this latest software upgrade, Synchronized Tournament Breaks will be implemented in selected tournaments. A new PL Hold'em/PL Omaha Mixed Game was also introduced.
First up, Synchronized Tournament Breaks will now be applicable for a selected number of tournaments on PokerStars. For these tournaments, breaks will be scheduled at 55 minutes past every hour, regardless of when the tournament actually started.
The synchronized tournament breaks are now just a beta feature and will be implemented across all play money tournaments. Tournaments that have implemented this new feature will have this information displayed on the information box when it is selected in the PokerStars lobby.
PL Hold'em / PL Omaha Mixed Game Introduced

On top of these 2 major upgrades, there were also other minor updates. The extended registration period for tournaments will now be clearly displayed when the "Tournament Info" dialog is activated in the tournament lobby. A bug involving tournament satellites has also been fixed. From now on, players who win a satellite after the extended registration period for that tournament has closed will be credited T-Money, W$ or a tournament ticket.
Players can also now make private tournaments with lower buy-ins. Starting from this update, $1.10 and $3.30 buy-in private tournaments can be created by players who have amassed at least 2000 FPP over their account's lifetime.
