PokerStars could be launching 6+ Hold'em Spin & Go's
No official announcement but a software update has hinted at a marriage between two of the fastest action formats in poker.

Once again we have to tip our hat to pokerfuse for finding this, they were first to spot the graphic (right) in the latest PokerStars update that suggests that 6+ Hold'em Spin & Go is on its way.
Sometimes when a new graphics set appears in the PokerStars software it doesn't end up resulting in a new game being launched, but given how popular 6+ Hold'em has become in the last year we would bet it is inevitable in the Spin & Go format. The fast action of Spin & Go seems well suited to 6+ Hold'em and it would be a great way of introducing new players to the short deck format.
6+ Hold'em or Short Deck Hold'em plays just like regular No Limit Hold'em other than cards below 6 are removed from the deck. As such the hand rankings change, and a Flush now beats a Full House. Wheel straights are still possible but they are ordered A-6-7-8-9.

Almost every operator has a variant of Short Deck Poker (though some differ with the hand rankings) as well as a Lottery SNG format. If PokerStars do go ahead with 6+ Hold'em Spin & Go's they would be the first to combine two formats that have dramatically changed online poker in the last few years.
