PokerStars signs November Niner Joe Cada
Joe Cada will join Eric Buchman and Kevin Schaffel as PokerStars representatives at the WSOP Main Event final table. Cada is currently 5th in chips and is the youngest of the November Nine.
PokerStars has just announced that Joe Cada will be joining Eric Buchman and Kevin Schaffel as their representatives at the WSOP Main Event final table this November. Cada should be PokerStars final signing as a WSOP rule change means that each sponsor can have only three representatives.
The main reason that prompted the rule change was that last year, PokerStars had six players signed up to them at the final table. Peter Eastgate, Ivan Demidov, Darus Suharto, Dennis Phillips, Ylon Schwartz and Chino Rheem were all representing PokerStars.
Cada who is just 21 years old, is the youngest of the nine players. If he wins the Main Event, Cada will eclipse Peter Eastgate as the youngest Main Event champion. He is currently 5th in chips will be seated at seat number 7, between Eric Buchman and Antoine Saout.
“I’m proud to have been chosen to represent PokerStars. Their reputation and prestige are second to none," said Cada. “I look forward to bringing even more accolades to their already decorated team.”
Of the nine, chip leader Darvin Moon is the only player who still has not been signed up. Earlier this month, Antoine Saout signed with Everest Poker while Phil Ivey, James Akenhead and Steven Begleiter are attached to Full Tilt Poker. Jeff Shulman will of course be attached to his own outfit.
