Preview of Poker After Dark IV

The popular TV show, Poker After Dark, has given a small preview of their fourth season, which will start broadcasting their first of ten episodes in July.

One of the main features of the show
will be the recording of the $200 / $400 No Limit cash game. This
high stakes spectacle will be the aired for two weeks. In the first
week Patrik Antonius, Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Gabe Kaplan, Howard
Lederer and Dee Tiller will take their seat at the table. The week
after that Mike Baxter, Allen Cunningham, Tom Dwan, Antonio
Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth and Guy Laliberte will replace them.

One of the main features of this show

Entirely new to the show is the so
called Double Elimination Heads-Up Battle" between the four
previous winners of the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship -
Phil Hellmuth, Ted Forrest, Paul Wasicka and Chris Ferguson.
All four will buy in for $50.000 in this winner takes all event.

The will also be a new kind of
entertainment package. The different kinds of players will be
categorized into two different groups. One is called the "Brilliant
Minds", in which players who approach the game in an analytical
and mathematical will be placed. Amongst them people like Bill Chen,
Chris Ferguson and Andy Bloch. The other group is called "The
Mayfair Club". These members have all met each other for the
first time at the famous NYC Poker Club. Many of nowadays pro's have
started their career there, amongst others Dan Harrington and Howard
Lederer.

The so called Dream Match, in which an
online qualifier will sit and play amongst five pro's, will also
return in the fourth season. Next to that a huge amount of pro's will
make their entrance in the new season. Amongst others; Andy Black,
Todd Brunson, Johnny Chan, Phil Gordon, Jennifer Harman, Mike
Matusow, Huck Seed, Mike Sexton, David Sklansky, Gavin Smith and Lee
Watkinson.
