Ren Lin wins King Poker Cup Main Event
Two titles in Jeju for Rin Lin after what can certainly be described as a mixed month for the Chinese poker star.
Away from a series of recent scandals, Ren Lin has just taken down his first major event of 2026.
Sporting his new WPT Global patch, he has just taken down the King Poker Cup Main Event for $600,700.
The $15,000 buy-in tournament in Jeju had a field of 191 players, and it was the 2nd title Lin had won that week. He also captured the $10,000 No Limit/PLO Mix for $112,300.
Lin is 3rd on China's All-Time Money List and now boasts $18,528,158 in career earnings.
The end of a turbulent month
While no doubt an amazing pair of results, Lin might not have minded a quiet time at the tables, after what has been a crazy month for him.
The year started with him leaving GGPoker, having previously been suspended for ghosting towards the end of 2025, before being reinstated at WSOP Paradise.

He was then signed for WPT Global, which caused internal conflict within the World Poker Tour brand, which ultimately saw Dara O'Kearney and David Lappin from the Chip Race leave their ambassadorships with the site in protest.
He will no doubt be happy that it his poker that is doing the talking, rather than the significant recent controversy surrounding him.
