Results of the PSPC player survey

Last month PokerStars invited their players to vote on what the first ever PokerStars Players No Limit Hold'em Championship should look like, with everything from the payouts all the way to things like shot clocks. 

The results are in and with not many surprises.

The tournament will start nine handed with a view to possibly changing to eight handed on Day 2. Each day will be eight hours long and players start with 300 big blinds. 

The players voted for 15% of the field getting paid, but because the event is rake free, the actual number that makes the money will be higher than that.

The min cash will be $25,000, the size of the buy-in, which when you consider the fact that so many of the field got there for free, this will still be a massive score. 

The first prize will be between 17 and 19% of the money collected, before the added $1 million from PokerStars is included. 

The event will use a shot clock when the players are in the money, and will use the Big Blind Ante throughout.
