Ronaldo rejoins Team PokerStars

The 'other' Ronaldo is back at PokerStars and will be using his Twitch channel to stream online poker very soon.

Showing that they still are very much invested in high profile sports stars, Ronaldo has rejoined PokerStars as an ambassador. He is the second Brazilian footballing legend to rejoin the site after Neymar Jnr did the same thing in 2020. 

The former FIFA World Player of the Year first joined PokerStars as an ambassador in 2013, but left around 2015 after Neymar and the other Ronaldo (Cristiano) joined as ambassadors. This time around it appears that he will be employed as a streamer. 

Ronaldo said “I am extremely excited to announce that I am becoming part of the PokerStars family again. I have always been a huge fan of the game and look forward to working on some exciting projects in the future. Keep an eye on Ronaldo TV where I’ll be streaming some tournaments soon!”

Ronaldo's Twitch channel has over 407,000 followers where he mostly streams football talk shows and podcasts, but he has streamed video games in the past. Now it seems he will be using his channel to compete with the likes of his new team mates Lex Veldhuis and Spraggy as a poker streamer.
