Lots of big names hit the rail on Day 2 of the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic as the money bubble is looming. Plenty of PokerStrategists look on course to make the money tonight when Day 3 gets underway.

Sam El Sayed leads Day 2: Former WPT champion Sam El Sayed leads a stacked final 53, with fellow WPT champion Chino Rheem close behind him. Erik Cajelais and Robert Mizrachi are also among the big names to make the top ten chip counts.
PokerStrategists going deep: With 53 players remaining and 36 making the money, several members of the PokerStrategy.com community look poised to cash, including Dominik 'aceontheriver' Nitsche, Martin '0piggybank' Finger, Manig 'swordfish007' Loeser, Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann and Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier.
Busting out: Some of the notables missing out on the money this time include Michael Mizrachi, Kelly Kim, Tuan Le, Giuseppe 'lechiffre19' Pantaleo and Gaelle Baumann.

WPT Paris and Malta qualifiers now running
Two more major European legs of the World Poker Tour are now open to qualification on PartyPoker and WPT Poker.
You can win a $6,500 package to WPT Malta that includes $4,200 entry, five star accommodation, and $850 spending money.
On Sundays at 14:50 ET you can win your package in a direct $350 qualifier, with feeder satellites running around the clock starting at freerolls.
Or you can win a $13,000 package to the legendary WPT Grand Prix de Paris, which includes accommodation, $1,400 spending money, and the $9,500 buy-in.
$700 direct qualifiers take place on Sundays at 15:20 ET, with feeders running 24/7.
