Settlement in the Mike Postle case

Settlement reached in Postlegate

It looked inevitable that the biggest poker story of 2019 would go out with a whimper rather than a bang after the Mike Postle case was dismissed earlier this year. Now it looks like this story is over, for now. 

CardPlayer are reporting that most of the plaintiffs have settled in the case, with 60 of the 88 reaching an undisclosed settlement. 

Of the remaining 28, they have 20 days left to file a second complaint against Postle and the Stones Gambling Hall. 

PokerStars pull out of Serbia

Following the news that PokerStars have withdrawn from China, Taiwan and Macau, it looks like Serbia is the next region to lose the site. 

Customers have been reporting that they got this simple email message saying:

Following a recent internal review, we have prohibited access to our platforms from your region, effective September 10, 2020.

This comes after the PokerStars parent group Flutter Entertainment announced to shareholders they would be taking more aggressive control in 'grey' unregulated poker markets.

The Hype Man is back!
