Once filtered down to a final six handed table, Orpen Kisacikoglu was the first to make way, courtesy of Byron Kaverman, who started the final stage as chip leader, and swiftly moved on to dismiss Benjamin Pollak in fifth.

O’Dwyer himself took out Hall of Famer Erik Seidel next before Kaverman shot down Jean-Noel Thorel in third place to leave a heads up, face off in which Kaverman was to have the distinct chip advantage.

An advantage that wasn’t to last long as O’Dwyer won five straight hands, allowing him to leapfrog his opponent and take the lead, a position he was to finish in.
