Streamer gets heads-up in the GGMasters
The hottest new tournament on the Sunday schedule was streamed start to finish last night by one lucky Twitch streamer.
Perhaps the most talked about Sunday Major of the last month has to be the new GGMasters at GGPoker. It has a $150 buy-in, a $300,000 guarantee, is a freezeout and has been overlaying every week.
So it is quite noteworthy when a streamer nearly wins it live in front of an audience, which is almost what streamer 'Scrimitzu' did last night.
Live without a stream delay he navigated a field of 1,920 to get heads-up in this tournament. He didn't quite win the $45,000 first prize and instead took second for $34,038.
A feat worthy enough for praise from recently signed GGPoker sponsored pro Daniel Negreanu, no less:
Siiiiiick run man! Nice work!
Correction though my friend, it was a new record 1940 people! https://t.co/bkrHw57rF1

This tournament has had an overlay every weekend since it was created and last night was no different, as around $12,000 in overlays had to be paid by the operator. That included 10 of our members getting their tickets to it for free.
