PokerStars Sunday Million is proving to be a promising event for PokerStrategists. After Finnish community manager  tikkari won the prestigious tournament last week, pinowww from the Dutch community came close to following in his footsteps.

In the deciding hand, he went all in with and found himself dominated, as his opponent also had top pair, but with . The marginally better kicker was, however, enough to win the duel, and Pinowww had to be happy with his $132,112.

The Dutch PokerStrategist is no stranger to large tournament cashes however, as he managed to win the Sunday Warm Up just a few months ago, winning a prize of 148.975.

There was almost $2.8 million in the prize pool for the main event of the recent FTOPS. The $600 + $40 buy-in at the multi-entry event was paid 4,666 times. In the end, German PokerStrategist jaybeastie fell just short of victory.

Initially beaten in heads-up by a Brazilian player, jaybeastie still reaped the rewards of his 15-hour long online poker session, adding $366,792 to his account.

This was even more than the winner took home, as the last four players made a deal and, as chip leader, jaybeastie could lay claim to the biggest piece of the pie.

Russian PokerStrategist paranoik333 also profited from the deal after leaving in 4th place for $288,774. This was even better for him, as he played simultaneously in the Sunday Warm-Up at PokerStars, where he also took 4th place. He "only" took home $39,000 from that run; still, he'd have slept happy knowning there was some $327,000 more in his account the next morning.

At the same time as the FTOPS main event, the last round of the standard FTOPS events also came to a close. Event #44 had a $256 buy-in and was a knock-out event featuring multiple entries. A bounty of $40 was also included in the buy-in.

The best PokerStrategist here was jurata from the Polish community, who came 5th winning $44,394. Right behind him was tournament regular dahustla from the German community, who can't have been disappointed with his $27,396.

We also had reason to celebrate in the PokerStrategy.com office: Poker Market Analyst pleno1 took 25th place and $4,383.

Congratulations to all the successful PokerStrategists!
