Team PokerStrategy.com Going to EPT Vilamoura

Two of the Team PokerStrategy.com members, BongBob and our newest addition Thorsten77, will be heading to Portugal to play in the PokerStars EPT at Vilamoura.

The next stop on the PokerStars European Poker Tour is the Algarve coast in Vilamoura, Portugal. Team PokerStrategy.com, as well as several PokerStrategists, will be taking part in this event which will run between August 28 and September 2.

The Team PokerStrategy.com line-up will consist of two players this time:

• bongbob
• thorsten77

The buy-in for the main event is set to €5,000 + €300 and up to 700 players can join the action at the Vilamoura Casino. Several notable poker pros are expected to take part in this tournament, including Team PokerStars Pros Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, David Williams, Lex Veldhuis, Luca Pagano, Dario Minieri.

Last year's EPT Vilamoura reached a prize pool of €1.5 million, making it the richest poker event held in Portugal. Antonio Matias was crowned champion and received a cash prize of €404,793. He will be back to defend his title, along with previous EPT winners Kevin MacPhee, Allan Baekke and William Thorson.
