Following Mark Newhouse's uncanny and unfortunate prediction tweet, we look back some other famous tweets that went viral in poker.
Mark Newhouse predicts his future
Making back-to-back Main Event finals is already statistically unlikely, but this tweet essentially predicting back-to-back 9th places almost makes you believe in the poker gods:

Mrs Lindgren does not help matters
When you have just been outed for having bad debt like Erick Lindgren did, you would normally want to keep a low profile. This tweet by his wife Erica, which was quickly deleted, did not help win him any sympathy:
Duke breaks her silence
Likewise, Annie Duke was infamous for her silence in the UB scandal, so when secret recordings were unearthed which revealed she was aware of some of the technology that led to the 'superuser' cheating scandal, this was not a popular way to break her silence on the matter (Click on the date to see the backlash):

Galfond lightens the mood
Black Friday was a terrible day for everyone in poker, but Phil Galfond made it bearable with this hilarious tweet (Which only makes sense if you knew that at the time the online pro had a very elaborate helter-skelter slide in his apartment between floors):

Hachem tweet catches fire
In Australia Joe Hachem is a genuine celebrity, not just in poker, but in the entire country.
So when he posted this picture of a baby smoking, with the words “Go blues, shisha for all, can never be too young” the mainstream media jumped on it.
Hachem took down the tweet and made a public apology.

Even the best of us are confused about the role of the 'favorite' button on Twitter. Unfortunately for the WSOP, Seth Palansky thought it was a way of internally bookmarking a tweet, and as such accidently 'favorited' the following tweet to thousands of followers:
Everything Betfair Poker has tweeted
There are lots of great accounts to follow on Twitter, but Betfair Poker stands alone as being the strangest, and possibly funniest, Twitter account. Mostly because it has nothing to do with poker. Here is a random example picked from this week:

Gus defends Howard
Gus Hansen is normally aloof on social media and laid back in general, so this tweet where he defended Howard Lederer both surprised, and angered, a lot of people (Again, click on the date of the tweet to see the backlash):

Negreanu bets he can beat $25/$50
Most of his tweets cause headlines, but certainly the one that caused the longest debate (Still very much ongoing) is this $1 million claim he could beat $25/$50 online:
