Al Krux: Up in smoke
It was reported this week that WSOP bracelet winner and three time Main Event final tablist Al Krux has found himself in a spot of bother.
The 68-year-old poker pro was arrested whilst out in his vehicle following suspicious activity in DeWitt, Syracuse on Tuesday. Police found 25 pounds of marijuana in Krux’s car and also arrested his son Adam in a separate incident.
Like father like son, Adam Krux was found in possession of 15 pounds of marijuana. It's a far cry from Krux Senior's sixth place finish in the 2004 WSOP Main Event for $800,000.

High stakes corner
After an action-packed Monday and Tuesday at the high stakes tables, it was a quieter day yesterday, or perhaps the calm before the storm.
Most of the action ran at $25/$50 PLO on PokerStars where "RivalzZz" was the big winner, taking home a tidy $80,017 according to HSDB.
"VietRussian" continued his bad run and dropped $65,837 while golden boy and man-in-form Ilari "IlariFIN" Sahamies had a minor blemish on his otherwise great month in dropping $39,443.
Pokerfest day four
PartyPoker's brand new Pokerfest series continues at pace and day four saw three No Limit Hold'em tournaments reach their conclusion yesterday.
Today is Limit Hold’em day, as three FLH tournaments with $250, $2,500 and $25,000 take place. Good luck to those taking part!

PokerStars 70 billionth hand
Back in July, New Zealander "yllams" banked $68,420 after winning the 65 billionth hand dealt on PokerStars.
Only four months later, PokerStars is gearing up to celebrate the 70 billionth hand hitting any day soon. It's testament to just quite how enormous PokerStars really is and it won't be long before 'Stars hits hand number 100 billion.
To reward the players involved around hand #70 billion, PokerStars are putting up $750,000 in cash for the people who hit one of 300 milestone hands, and one lucky player will win a minimum of $70,000.
