AGCC changes stance on FTP

Yesterday the Alderney Gaming Control Board released a new statement concerning complaints it had been receiving from Full Tilt players.

Only last week the AGCC announced that they would no longer be handling any disputes between players, effectively washing its hands dry of the FTP situation.

It's something of a U-turn that they have now reported "at the request of the police, AGCC will continue to log incoming player complaints: these records will be made available to the police".

EPT London – PokerStrategists dominate

What a week it was for PokerStrategy.com members over at the EPT London.

It’s been a decent 24 hours for PokerStrategy.com coach jenskyllonen. The man known as "Jeans89" online booked himself a tidy $72,920 win at the PLO tables yesterday.

Jens sits second in the profit charts behind "Terken89" who amassed a chunky $114, 542 over 1,734 hands, according to HSDB.

On the flipside, it was a bad day for "tanya1604" and Rui "PepperoniF" Cao who lost $144,854 and $107,450 respectively. 

APPT Season five showpiece announced

Yesterday PokerStars Macau released details of the final tournament series of APPT season five. 

The APPT Macau Poker Festival will run from November 17th-27th and consists of 14 tournaments, culminating in the main event which has a HKD$6 million guaranteed prize pool with a buy-in of HKD$30,000. 

During the festival, the Asia Player of the Year award will also be announced; the winner of this will receive a one year sponsorship package from PokerStars Macau.
