The action continues today with $500, $5,000 and $50,000 guaranteed tournaments. You can find out more about the series here.
Adams speaks out on FTP
It wouldn't feel normal to have a daily newsflash without any Full Tilt Poker news, so here’s your daily fix.
Well regarded high stakes poker pro and businessman Brandon Adams has been speaking out this weekend in defence of his somewhat asinine comments around the time of Black Friday.
Adams's infamous tweet described Full Tilt Poker as being "run by much more honourable people than PokerStars". The ex-FTP pro was made to eat his words but has since clarified his stance in a 2+2 thread, stating he "never had anything close to an ownership interest in FT" and that he had made some "dumb comments".

High stakes corner
The past 24 hours have seen some juicy $200/$400 NL action going down at PokerStars and one man in particular has been enjoying a fine end to the weekend.
Phil "takechip" D'Auteil took a stranglehold on the game yesterday and managed to book a chunky $374,444 win according to HSDB.
D'Auteil won a monstrous pot worth $350,000 in the process and made both "nutsinho" and particularly "LiangYu" suffer, who lost $288,390 and $326,766 respectively over the past 24 hours.
