The Foxens win $100,000 fantasy league prize
Not content with winning a bracelet each, Alex and Kristen Foxen have just won the ODB $500 fantasy league.

There is dominance, and then there is this. If you think things couldn't get better for the Foxens this year at the World Series of Poker, they have just won a six-figure prize in a WSOP fantasy contest betting on themselves.
The ODB $500 Fantasy League runs alongside Daniel Negreanu's $25,000 Fantasy Draft. It is a more accessible version of the Fantasy League, which this year had a record 1,199 teams and a $599,500 prize pool.
Amazingly, Alex and Kristen Foxen put together the winning team in that league and took down the first prize of $100,000. These are the final standings:

Bet on yourself

How do successful professional poker players become successful poker fantasy league winners? In this instance, by betting on themselves.
Below is the team they drafted, which included both of them. Alex cost $79 to draft and scored 441 points, and Kristen cost $16 to draft and scored 162 points. They also shrewdly drafted double bracelet winner Calvin Anderson.
Obviously, this year Kristen won her sixth and Alex won his 4th bracelet, and right now, Alex is crushing in the Player of the Year race.
It seems that if you are a very successful player, you can compound your success by wagering on yourself. This is just yet more evidence that the Foxens are the greatest power couple poker has ever seen.
