The World Series of Poker Europe starts today
Time to go bracelet hunting again as the World Series of Poker Europe returns, once again to King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
10 bracelet events will take place, starting with the €550 COLOSSUS which has eight Day 1s. There are also two High Roller events, the biggest being a €100,000 buy-in.
The €10,350 Main Event starts on October 27 and has a €5 million guarantee. Last year it was won by online qualifier Marti Roca De Torres who turned a €220 satellite win into €1,115,208.
Live streaming of the event is set to take place next week, when the final tables begin, on the King's Casino Twitch page.

Deeb in pole position
One of the main ways in which the WSOPE is a contiuation of the main World Series of Poker is that the Player of the Year race ends there.
Right now Shaun Deeb looks set to win it, with 4,334.06 points compared to his nearest rival Ben Yu with 3,746.04. Also in contention are Joe Cada and John Hennigan, to name just two.
Of course the Player of the Year race also depends on who shows up to contend it in the first place, but right now the smart money is on Deeb.
