The World Series of Poker starts today
From today 88 bracelets are up for grabs over two months as the biggest festival in poker returns to Las Vegas,

It doesn't seem like that long since the last one, because it wasn't that long since the last one, but the World Series of Poker begins today, back at its usual time in the calendar.
88 bracelet events will take place and a further 14 online bracelets will be up for grabs, between May 31 and July 20.
For the first time the series is taking place at its now home of Bally's and Paris Las Vegas in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip.
We have a new venue and also a shot at a record breaking attendance this year. Not only is there still a great deal of pent up demand for live poker but this time there are no travel, vaccine or mask restrictions.
Will the Mystery Bounty be a hit?

The series starts, as always, with the $500 Casino Employees Event as well as the $100,000 High Roller Bounty tournament.
The $10,000 Main Event gets underway between July 3 and July 16.
Lots of new additions to the schedule this year including a $100,000 High Roller Bounty and the return of the Tournament of Champions freeroll for bracelet winners.
Perhaps the most notable new addition this year is the $1,000 Mystery Bounty event which will guarantee a $1 million bounty to one lucky player.
PokerGO and CBS Sports Network are the home of the broadcasts this year, you can see the schedule for 30 televised bracelet events here.
As always WSOP.com is the place to go for live updates from each tournament, but stay tuned to PokerStrategy.com for all the biggest stories and gossip from the biggest festival in poker.
