The dates for the 2025 WSOP are out
As a stacked (and controversial) WSOP Paradise final table has formed we looked ahead to next year's series in Vegas.
As is customary on the eve of a Main Event final table, the World Series of Poker has announced details of their next series in Las Vegas.
The 2025 World Series of Poker will take place between May 27 and July 16, at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas.
The Main Event will take place from July 2nd.

This will be the first WSOP where GGPoker have been the owner of the festival, and all eyes will be on how the series will change going forward.
A stacked Paradise finale
Tonight will see the winner of the $25,000 Super Main Event and there are a lot of big names at the final table, after Chris Moneymaker bubbled it.
Liv Boeree, Michael Addadmo, Mustapha Kanit and Justin Bonomo are all in contention for that $6 million first prize.
A huge controversy surrounded Bonomo after he was asked to remove a Keffiyeh when he was at the TV table or face disqualification. The Keffiyeh is a Middle Eastern scarf worn by men and has become associated with support for Palestine, a cause for which Bonomo is a vocal advocate.

This caused a huge backlash and even many of Bonomo's fiercest critics came out in support of his right to freedom of expression. This prompted the WSOP to clarify to PokerNews that they had a rule about clothing deemed potentially political in their deals with broadcast partners.
The request for removal of Mr. Bonomo’s Keffiyeh once he reached the TV production table was simply a matter of broadcast clearance. Our future distribution platforms for Super Main Event do not allow garments deemed controversial or political in nature.
It would appear that the WSOP has backed down on this and Bonomo is likely going to express his support for Palestine on the stream tonight.
