The easiest way to win a Platinum Pass

We round-up some stories you may have missed including a record breaking Aussie Millions and a big side bet for Negreanu.

Tweet to win a PSPC Platinum Pass

So far the ways to win a PSPC Platinum Pass have varied from the pure luck to pure skill, but this latest way is perhaps the most accessible.

Simply reply to this Tweet by the end of tomorrow for a ticket to a freeroll to win the latest $30,000 package, plus 20 lucky winners will get Sunday Storm tickets too:

Record breaking Aussie Millions

Despite the online game being banned in Australia and one particular event attracting just four entries, the Aussie Millions Main Event this year is the biggest one ever.

Exactly 800 players bought in to the AUD$10,000 event, meaning 88 get paid and the first prize will be AUD$1,800,000.

It is also interesting to note that as Remko Rinkema pointed out (before the Main Event had finished accepting entries) that the Aussie Millions is a good predictor of the WSOP Main Event. Will we see a record breaker this year in Vegas too?

KidPoker booking some side bets

Just as his did with the Poker Masters, Daniel Negreanu is looking to make some side bets for the US Poker Open, which starts this week.

He is willing to bet up to $50,000 with anyone, except for Phil Hellmuth, where he has a spare $250,000 lying around:

Parker meets Joey (again)

The Poker Life Podcast is back and our new friend Parker Talbot was the latest player to talk at length with Joe Ingram, and the two had a deep dive into poker sponsorship deals:

Will Hellmuth take the bait? Will you be tweeting to PokerStars? Will the WSOP be a record breaker? Let us know in the comments:
