The first delayed WPT final tables have been won

We recap some stories you may have missed including the biggest PLO festival ever and Hellmuth sets his poker goals.

First delayed WPT finales

You may recall last year the World Poker Tour announced it was delaying some of their final tables to take place at the Esports Arena in Las Vegas.

The first two concluded this week with David 'ODB' Baker taking down the LA Poker Classic for $1,015,000 and Frank Stepuchin winning the Gardens Poker Championship for $548,825.

The final table of the Borgata Winter Poker Open takes place tonight live on PokerGO. This is what the new style final tables look like:

Hellmuth sets his 2019 goals

Will we see Phil Hellmuth at one of these delayed final tables? We will at two if his bathroom mirror is anything to go by.

Yes the Poker Brat has made a vision board out of a hotel mirror (using non-permanent marker) and it includes three bracelets, two WPTs and a million copies of his book sold. And maybe more markers.

PLO only festival

So many operators try and fail to make a PLO only tournament work that we at least have to give them a bit of support when they give it another go.

The King's Casino in Rozvadov are hosting what they claim is the biggest PLO series in poker history, with both a €200,000 guaranteed warm-up event and a €1 million guaranteed Main Event, next month:
