According to eye witness reports, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan recently walked away from Macau's StarWorld Casino with a $25 million haul.
Despite recently being released from his sponsorship deal and rumoured to be broke, Tom has continued to amuse local businessmen in Macau with his aggressive playing style.
This reputation has seen him invited into the largest games with stakes apparently reaching $6,000/$12,000 and $15,000/$30,000.
Playing alongside a group of billionaire amateurs, Tom reportedly lost $7 million recently but was granted a rematch a week later.
After throwing around six-figure bets like confetti, witnesses say that Tom eventually left the four-handed cash game with $25 million.
Of course, the story is purely conjecture at this point and Tom hasn't yet confirmed or denied it, but if it's true then it's certainly clear why he now plays a lot more live than online.

The highs and lows of poker is something the best poker players don't often talk about; however, in a recent interview, Ville Wahlbeck has openly discussed what it's like to play for six-figure pots on a daily basis.
A number of topics are covered during the interview, including Ville's daily routine, life with his two kids and his hobbies, but one of the most interesting parts is his outlook on money.
Drawing on an old Finnish saying that a bankroll is like a carpenter's toolbox and without one you're as useless as a lumberjack without an axe, Ville invests a large amount of his winnings.
Using stocks as a personal piggybank, he feels that "it gives the money security" and makes it tougher for him to put it back into his poker account.

Ivey's cash mystery
It's one of the most famous photos in the poker world and in the last 24 hours Phil Ivey has finally explained the story behind it.
After being snapped at the WSOP with a huge wad of cash by his foot, Ivey's status as a poker baller was set in stone, but according to the high stakes pro he wasn't even aware it was there.
In a recent post on Instagram Ivey gave his take on the situation: "Truth is I don't think I knew the money was there."

Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom continued his recent upswing with a third successive day in the black on Thursday. After playing through 3,100 hands, the Swedish pro managed to bank $238,196 and finish the day more than $100,000 ahead of 'Crazy Elior' and 'JesusLebtNOT'.
At the other end of the spectrum, 'D2THEMFI' became the biggest loser in the last 24 hours after dropping $132,894. The six-figure deficit was more than enough for the online grinder to finish ahead of 'gomir' (-$112,161) and 'Follow The Hawk' (-$99,060).
