Tony G Defeated by Isildur1 in PokerStars Superstar Showdown
Isildur1 won his second PokerStars Superstar Showdown against Tony G. After a back and forth battle, it was Tony G who surrendered close to $45k to his opponent. Even though playing on only one or two tables at times, the clash between the two pros offered some exciting hands to the railbirds.

The second instalment of the Pokerstars Superstar Showdown featured Isildur1 taking on Tony G (pictured right). The 2,500 hands match between the two lasted quite long, as Tony G was taking his time playing the hands.
A slow and close match
At one point, Isildur1 and Tony G even played on just one table, as opposed to the expected four. Nevertheless, the clash between the two eventually came to an end with Isildur1 winning $48,820.
The NLHE game was particularly close, as Isildur1 barely edged Tony G for a $500 profit. Meanwhile, the PLO game saw Isildur1 earning $158,470 on one table, while Tony G earned $114,150 on the other.
Tony G congratulated his opponent and stated numerous times that he was outclassed. Isildur1 commented how close their match was and how much heart Tony G has shown throughout the back and forth battles at the tables.
