The 2012 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is over, as the Grand Final concluded on Sunday night.

137 players entered the £2,500 Main Event and it created a tough final table which included Sam Grafton, Peter Charalambous, Jonathan Spinks and Chris Brammer.

The eventual winner was Sam Grafton, who defeated Peter Charalambous heads-up for the first prize of £102,700.

That concludes the GUKPT for another year. Look out for its return next February when the 2013 season will boast at least £1.75 million in prizes.

When the best regularly monthly competition in UK poker takes place on the doorstep of one of the most successful tournament players in the UK, it's only a matter of time...

Nottingham regular Julian 'YoYo' Thew is the latest champion of the Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack.

188 runners in total attended the £500 Main Event, and 'Thewy' took it down for £26,299 when he defeated Tsun Wong heads-up.

The final table also included last week's DTD Caribbean champion Waheed Ashraf, who came 4th.

Taking place between Jan 4-6, this £300+£36 re-entry event has a staggering £150,000 guarantee.

Not only that, but it will feature a 30,000 starting stack and the WSOP Main Event structure.

Phil Hellmuth may have bracelets, but online tournament players brag about PocketFives Triple Crowns.

Last week UK phenom Chris Moorman bagged his 12th, extending the world record he currently holds.

The PocketFives Triple Crown is awarded when an online player wins three events with a prize pool of $10,000 or more, across three separate sites, in the space of a week.

In seven days, Moorman won a $163 tournament on Full Tilt for $7,654, two tournaments on PokerStars (a $109 event for $5,760 and a $215 rebuy for $20,654) and a $30 rebuy on iPoker for $4,141.

That achievement in itself is amazing, but when you consider he has done this 11 times previously, you have to tip your hat to Moorman.
