WPT Prague: Eoghan O'Dea and Several PokerStrategists Start Strong
Day 1a of the WPT Prague has come to an end, and 93 of the 231 players who entered still have chips. PokerStrategists Producent77, VojtaR, PokerNoob, and Suppenkasper all had strong days, and so did WSOP ME final tablist Eoghan O'Dea.

The first ever WPT Prague has begun at the Corinthia Hotel & Casino in Prague, Czech Republic. 231 players paid €3,500 to take their seats, and by the end of the day just 93 of them remained. The ones that busted haven't had their dreams dashed quite yet, however, as they will have the ability to re-buy today for Day 1b.
So, What Happened?
• Jans in Charge - The Day 1a leader is Jan Ramik of the Czech Republic. He was the only player to finish with over 200K chips, and he will enter Day 2 with 209,300 chips. In second place is a player with a very similar name, Slovakian Jan Bendik, who will begin Day 2 with 180,400 chips.
• PokerStrategists Doing Well - Several PokerStrategists had a solid start to this tournament. Michal 'producent77' Maryska sits in 7th with 141,900 chips, Vojtech 'vojtar' Ruzicka is in 13th with 127,500, coach Tobias 'pokernoob' Reinkemeier is in 21st with 109,700, and 'suppenkasper' is in 36th with 83,800. • Eoghan O'Dea - Coming off of a $1.6 million score from a 6th place finish in last month's WSOP Main Event final table, Eoghan O'Dea is the most recognizable player with a big stack. He is in 10th place with 132,600 chips, and the young Irish pro will look to improve upon an already outstanding year over the next few days.
Day 1b will begin today at 14:00 CET, and anyone who busted from Day 1a will have an opportunity for a fresh start. Check out the action with the live ticker in the PokerStrategy.com forums:
