WSOP 2010: RobbieV Nears the Money in Event #13 & New Blog

Day 1B of this $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event saw a further 1,050 players signing up, on top of the 1,992 from Day 1A. In the end, Team PokerStrategy.com member RobbieV is one of the 447 who made it into Day 2.

RobbieV With a total of 3,042 entries, Event #13 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em generated a total prize pool of $2,737,800. The top 324 players are getting a share of it and they are guaranteed a payout of $1,834. First prize in this event is worth $472,479, as the top five players go home with a six digit payout.

Team PokerStrategy.com member AdminRobbieV will be among the 447 players who will return to compete in Day 2. He needs to outlast just 123 more players to make the money. PokerStrategist guennilicous played in Day 1B, but did not make it through the day.

The top four chip leaders, led by Irish pro Andrew Black have well over 70,000 chips to their name. Meanwhile, AdminRobbieV will start the day with 9,475 chips, which is about 16 big blinds, as play is set to resume midway through level 9. The blinds are at 300/600 with a 75 ante.
