WSOP 2010: PokerStrategists Sweep Their Heads-up Matches
Team PokerStrategy.com member RobbieV and three PokerStrategists won all their Day 1 matches to proceed into Round 2. Meanwhile Team Pokerstrategy.com member BongBob made it into the final 14 of Event #33 and three other PokerStrategists cashed in Event #32.

RobbieV was joined by pokernoob, eleph and trader in Event #35. Tournament video producer jonathanlittle also played. They made a clean sweep of their respective heads-up matches in the $10k Heads-up No Limit Hold'em Championship, taking out the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil, James Mackey and Cory Carroll.
Another Team PokerStrategy.com member BongBob was also in action today, playing in the $2,500 Pot Limit Hold'em / Pot Limit Omaha event. Despite starting with a relatively short stack of just 24 big blinds, BongBob nursed his stack into the money and is still in the running for the final table. With his in the money finish, three of four Team PokerStrategy.com members in Vegas, RobbieV, Nazgul and BongBob have cashed in WSOP 2010.
Last but not least, PokerStrategists behlinho, draction and psychobenny also made the money in Event #32. They finished in 37th ($12,653), 45th ($11,345) and 48th ($11,345) place respectively.

One win from the money and six more to the title
The heads-up championship event was capped at 256 players and the seats were all filled up. The eventual champion of this event will have to defeat 8 different opponents, while the top 32 players will end up in the money.. Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Brian Hastings all played but only Ivey advanced.
In their Day 1 matches, RobbieV defeated Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil and Eric Froehlich, eleph defeated Steve Saraf and James Mackey, pokernoob overcame Cory Carroll and Mark Muchnik while trader defeated two Full Tilt Poker pros Nikolay Evdakov and Joao Barbosa. jonathanlittle felted Daniel Negreanu in Round 2.
Meanwhile, BongBob played his way into Day 3 of Event #33 and will be the short stack among the 14 players left with 75,000 chips to his name. He is already guaranteed $12,671 in his first WSOP 2010 cash and at stake on Day 3 is a WSOP bracelet and the $260,552 winner's purse.
One new WSOP Champion was crowned since our last daily review was published. Matt Keikoan took home the gold bracelet for the $10,000 Limit Hold'em World Championship and is now $425,969 richer for his efforts.
