WSOP 2010: Thorsten77 Among the Chip Leaders of Event #17
PokerStrategist Thorsten77 finished Day 1 of the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em event with 146,200 chips and will be among the chip leaders at the start of Day 2. Team PokerStrategy.com member RobbieV also made it into Day 2 with 42,300 chips.

BongBob did not manage to survive Day 1 as they hit the rails along with six other PokerStrategists. Meanwhile,
RobbieV made his way into Day 2 and will be joined by , thorsten77 (pictured right) and dalcon.
The event also attracted a large number of well known players. Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Sorel Mizzi and Kevin MacPhee were among those who were eliminated in Day 1, while Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Jonathan Little and Isaac Baron all made it into Day 2.

Slow and steady wins the day for Thorsten77
Thorsten "thorsten77" Schäfer ended Day 1 with 146,200 chips and sits among the chip leaders. He steadily accumulated chips throughout the day to put himself in a comfortable position to go for a deep run in Day 2. Other notables with big chip stacks include Chino Rheem (185,000), Jeff Williams (172,400) and Sam Trickett (159,000).
RobbieV, meanwhile, had a great run at the start of the event to accumulate over 100,000 chips in just over 4 levels of play. However, he could not sustain the momentum and will go into Day 2 with 42,300 chips. dalcon also finished near the top with 108,400 chips, while has 26,700 chips. Day 2 will start with the blinds at 600/1,200 and an ante of 100.
