WSOP 2010: vedevas Finishes Sixth, RobbieV and Nazgul Cash
vedevas took home $91,407 after playing his way into the final table and busting out in sixth place of the $3,000 Triple Chance No Limit Hold'em event. He became the third PokerStrategist to make a final table this WSOP.
After trader and 
BongBob made the final table just over a week ago, it was vedevas' turn to shine. Unfortunately, like the two PokerStrategists before him, vedevas also came close to our first bracelet, but eventually fell short.
Nazgul and RobbieV cash at the Venetian
Team PokerStrategy.com members Nazgul and RobbieV both made it into the money at the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em event at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza. Nazgul finished 36 for $5.6k while RobbieV busted in 20th place for $6.9k. Former team member trader was also in action on Day 2 and also made it into the money for $4.2k.
philgruissem and zwacke meanwhile, did not progress from Day 2 of the $25,000 No Limit Hold'em 6-max event. philgruissem made it close to the money, but finished in 21st place after running his short stack into pocket aces.

vedevas makes first final table, wins $91,407
Russian PokerStrategist vedevas (pictured left) who is not usually a tournament player made his first ever WSOP final table. He eventually hit the rails in sixth place, but the $91,407 prize was still enough to top his personal best tournament cash.
vedevas has started the final table in the middle of the pack and had a roller coaster ride on the final table. He started really well by making a big double up early on to vault himself into second place.
Things however did not stay that way for too long. First, his opponent outdrew him after they went all in on the flop with top pair against a flush draw. Not long after that, his A-J, ran into Guillaume Darcourt's A-K and he was sent to the rails.
Darcourt led for quite some time after eliminating the first four players at the final table. He however could only manage a third place finish as Jon Eaton and Ryan Welch got the better of him. Welch picked up the sole bracelet awarded today and the $559,371 to go with it.

While all the excitement as focused on vedevas' final table and the high roller event, tournament video producer jonathanlittle made it into the final table of the $1,500 Limit Hold'em shootout. First place in this event pays $184,950 on top of the WSOP gold bracelet.
Meanwhile, jan1000, eleph, psychobenny and all took part in the $10,000 Pot Limit Hold'em Championship. Jan1000 and eleph are among the 170 or so players that made it into Day 2. They both will have around 40 big blinds at the start of the next level.
