Lately there are a lot more well-known female faces in poker, with the likes of Selbst, Rousso, Obrestad and Boeree all crushing in recent years, it's Maria Ho's time to shine.
Her first taste of fame came from her deep run in the 2007 WSOP Main Event where she was the last woman standing and took down a cool $237,865.
Since then she's accumulated 9 more WSOP cashes and came painfully close to her first bracelet just a few days ago in the $5,000 WSOP NL Event #4. The future looks bright for Miss Ho.

Beyond the poker tables

Maria also writes for a number of poker publications and also does some private coaching. Maria also sings at Hollywood music gigs, devotes her time to charity, and works with her family’s successful real estate firm.
