WSOP & WPT announce 2023 dates
Get your calendars out because a host of major live events between now and the end of summer have been announced.
As is always the case at the end of the year, the World Series of Poker have announced their initial dates and events for the following year.
The 2023 WSOP will take place between May 30 and July 18, with the Main Event starting on July 3.
All the 'mini Main Event' large field tournaments like the Seniors, Colossus and Millionaire Maker have been announced too, so that amateur players can book their holidays.
A new edition this year is the $300 Gladiators of Poker event which has a $3 million guarantee. This is the smallest buy-in live bracelet event in the history of the World Series of Poker. The 'Ultra Stack' event is also new but there is no additional information about it.
The $10,000 Main Event will have four starting days and late registration into two Day 2s.

2023 World Poker Tour dates
Not to be outdone, the first half of the 2023 World Poker Tour season has been announced. This includes WPT Prime events as well as main tour WPT Main Events.
It truly is a global tour in the first half of 2023 with events in Europe, America, Australia and Asia for poker players with the travel bug.
