Watch the EPT Berlin - Episode 1 Released

PokerStars.tv has released the first episode of the 2011 EPT Berlin. In this episode, you can see Roberto Romanello trying to continue his hot streak of EPT and WPT victories. Watch all the action unfold here.

The €5,000 buy-in event ran from April 5-10, attracting 773 entrants and generating a prize pool of €3,865,000. €825,000 was reserved for the winner.

In 2010, the EPT Berlin hit the headlines for the wrong reasons when play was abruptly halted by a group of armed robbers storming the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Episode One sees Roberto Romanello try to continue his rich vein of form. The outspoken Welshman clinched victory at the EPT Prague in December last year for €640,000, and went on to win the WPT Bratislava a few months later to the tune of €140,685. The event sees the return of 2008 WSOP Main Event winner Peter Eastgate after an eight month sabbatical from the game. 2008 EPT Barcelona winner Sebastian Ruthenberg also tries to make his mark in his native Germany.
