WhatIfGod wins back-to-back EPT Online Main Events
The Swede becomes only the third player in history to boast two EPT titles in their trophy cabinet.
There was a time when nobody thought there would be a double EPT winner, now Swedish player 'WhatIfGod' has done it back-to-back and by winning the same event twice.
He took down the EPT Online Main Event last night, the same event he won last year for over $1 million. Not only is that the same event, but also the last two EPT Main Events that have taken place because of lockdown.
He defeated a tough field of 401 other players and a final table that included bencb, Christoph Rudolph, Daniel Dvoress and PSPC Champion Roman Colillas, to capture the $363,640 first prize.
WhatIfGod becomes only the third player in history to win two EPT Main Events, alongside Vicky Coren-Mitchell and Mikalai Pobal.
