    min24: JJ bottom right table. what do you do when he bets the river?
  • mbml

    #5: If the river was a non pairing card, I may go for a checkraise with JJ, since I would do that with QJ sometimes

    When the river pairs, he can now be value betting his full houses (since I do expect him to check sets on the Turn). I'm also leading the River with QJ mostly here. So checkraising this hand isn't so good here.

    TX might actually end up being a better bluff catcher than JJ if we think he doesn't value bet AA-QQ

    Equity Win Tie

    MP3 60.87% 60.87% 0.00% { KK+, TT-99, 66, KsQs, KcQc, KdQh, KhQd, KsQd, KsQh, KcQd, KcQh, KcQs }

    If I assume he value bets KK+ and bluffs with some combos of KQ, any TX/9X becomes much better bluff catchers than JJ because those hands block set combos.
