The Grand Prix Knockout Main Events start today

partypoker is once again giving players of all bankrolls the chance to succeed with the Grand Prix Knockout.
The Grand Prix Knockout, the online version of the successful partypoker LIVE Grand Prix, is running from July 18-August 2, giving players the opportunity to enter 16 progressive knockout events in total. With buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $530, the series caters to all players of all levels, even coming with a chance to qualify for the Main Event for just $0.01, with satellites feeding into the tournament.
The structure of the events will work around the needs of the players. Several tournaments have multiple day ones, and events will be played at times that will suit players across different timezones.
$500,000 Main Event on August 2
The Main Event will be a two-day contest beginning this Sunday, July 25, with Day 1s running until the final day of the series on August 2 and paying out a guaranteed $500,000 for a buy-in of $109. To give players the maximum possible chance to have a shot at the tournament, there will be several Day 1s held across nine days, including a Day 1 Turbo and Day 1 Hyper, both running on the same day as the final day.
There will be more than one chance for players to become a Main Event champion though, as today also marks the start of the Mini Main Event, finishing on the same day as the Main Event and coming with a guarantee of $100,000 for an $11 buy-in.
