$1M GTD in partypoker's McLaren Turbo Series

In association with F1 legends McLaren Racing, partypoker presents another edition of a two-week long series played at ultra-high speed, with Daily Sprint sessions thrown into the mix!

Things are looking great again for McLaren on the F1 grid after the latest developments gave the team out of Woking an impressive boost this season. partypoker is jumping on the bandwagon, hosting a guaranteed series prize pool of $1 million from August 13 to August 28 in their McLaren Turbo Series that's being launched this Sunday.

Dubbed after the legendary F1 team that's been able to jump back to fighting in the front of the grid this season with their young guns Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the buy-ins of the series range from $1.10 to $215, including freerolls for just $0.01, to ensure there's something in store to suit players of varying bankrolls.

Fittingly to the premier class of motorsports, all tournaments of the McLaren Series will be going through the gears at high speed, with all events being played in either the Turbo or Hyper format, of course accompanied by the usual variety of 6-Max, 7-Max, 8-Max, Mix-Max, PKO and vanilla events.

$100,000 PKO Main Event & Mini Edition

Right from the start, attention will also be on the $100,000 GTD Main Event, coming with an affordable buy-in of $33 and starting flights running right from the get-go this Sunday. There will be plenty of chances for players to enter the Main Event, with starting flights running every day of the series, right up until the big finale is decided with Day 2 on Monday, August 28.

That will not be the only opportunity for players to get in on some Main Event action though, as there's also a Mini edition scheduled, with the smaller brother guaranteeing $20,000 for a $5.50 buy-in, mirroring the Main Event's schedule with starting flights throughout the series and a big finale on the last day.

However, much like a Formula 1 race weekend, there's a lot more in store every day throughout the entire series, with Daily Sprints scheduled where players can join Qualifying session throughout a day to qualify for tournament finals in the evening.
